I decided to stop blogging about politics and blog about something a little less controversial like religion:-) This blog is in no way affiliated with any church and anything I say that is stupid should not be held against anyone but myself.
In the past three or so years since I found Christ, I've done a lot of research and a lot of investigating. This is probably a result of my background as an Intelligence Analyst at the NSA (No Such Agency). As an analyst I was trained to take seemingly random, useless facts and put them together to produce a "whole picture" of a given situation. This methodology is ingrained in my brain and I apply it to every aspect of my life, much to the chagrin of my wife.
I've read the Bible itself almost two full times, and I've read it every single day for the last 2 1/2 years. I also read Bible commentaries and do a lot of googling on various topics.
My goal here is to address various issues from a factual standpoint, based on what the Bible says. The worst thing for the growth of God's Kingdom is for "man" to screw things up by imposing and interpreting Biblical guidelines from a non-Biblical basis.
Many will disagree with me, and that's fine. All I want to do is share how I feel about an issue and why I feel that way, thus giving you, the reader, more facts to form your own opinion.
As for the name of my Blog...Not One Jot. It is in reference to Matthew 5:18
